We are now over 800 members, which is
very exciting, but even more important we do seem to be building a community,
with a number of members taking active interest in the forums.  The winner of
March’s competition was
EmWorth, pop in and have a look at her post it’s great –
and before we know it, we will be checking the counts for the April Winner!
Forum Rule Change Reminder.
Just to remind you of the new forum rules, because a number of members were using free classified areas such as the
mobile phone forum on BizFace to carry out fraudulent activity we have tightened
up on things.  These  rules include a minimum number of posts and ten days
membership before posts can be made in Classifieds or on any sales forum without
moderation.  We
also encourage members, whenever buying online (not just BizFace, where indeed
the classifieds are not the main purpose anyway), to check the background to the
people you are buying from.  Some individuals do seem to use other company names
as cover, so check their website and only pay with credit cards or PayPal to
ensure you have some sort of guarantee.  Until a member has completed the
twelve posts no member will be allowed to post adverts on the forum for mobile
phones – there are too many dishonest telephone people out there (which has
amazed me!).  You will find more information on all of this on the forum
but what this means practically is that all posts (for new members) are placed in a moderation
queue so they can be checked before they appear on the forum - and all spam
mobile ads will be deleted by the moderators.
Don’t forget to invite your friends and
colleagues to join BizFace, and to put your photo and avatar on your account so
that people can see who you are – more chance of people realising you are
genuine then.  Also – a good way of bumping up your post count is to just say
hello to new members, they then feel more a part of the community and you become
more visible too.  Also, do just thank people for their posts or ask questions –
make things more interactive.
We plan some more content over the next
month, including a new HealthCare management forum - so do pop in and see what
is going on if you have not visited for a while.Hope to see you today!
