This is my first Christmas as a dropshipper and although I think that I have seen and heard most things during my long and eventful life.
This week I have been amused, surprised and at timed slightly worried by the gift buying public.
Would you pay £200 for a tie?
A nice hand made tie, though not a 'designer label' and available on Ebay and elsewhere on the internet for about £20 - £30 + postage.
One of my members had a customer who was willing to pay up to £200, if said tie could be delivered to an address in Wales, within 12 hours-in time for a party. This was genuine, the customer was on the 'phone begging to pay instantly if the tie could be delivered in time, he refused to buy the tie at the regular price and have it sent through the post to arrive the next day!! Perhaps in time for the next party?
I have had 'fairy doors' returned because they were too small for the visiting fairies. Does anyone know the average height of the modern fairy?
