This is the overall UK website for the British Chamber of Commerce. A business networking and support organisation. They have chapters and branches right across the UK - a membership fee is applicable that varies according to location - regular events are organised on a local and national basis.

Businessballs is a free ethical learning and development resource for people and organizations, run by Alan Chapman, in Leicester, England.

This is a Government web site (UK) supporting small business. This site contains a host of information on all aspects of running a business. From here one can also find a local agency to join - there is a fee payable for membership of this organisation.

Ecademy is a networking organisation for businesses. Containing a forum and other meeting areas it is quite good for making some contacts if you attend any of the events. Basic membership is free but to gain full advantage a paid subsciption may be more appropriate. You tend to get overloaded with ads as the basic entry level!
