Rustlers causing outrage on 0734 to London Bridge
Concerning Rustlers
No not cattle rustlers - although I could perhaps manage a word or two on that one but in the theme of my journey to work - paper rustlers. Readers may recall my tribulations of the journey from Lingfield to London re freeloaders. Today I reflect on my fellow big shots and some of whom cannot read a newspaper without making a noise like a jumbo jet taking off. These are the type of people if you were in the trench during world war one would be shot by the bloody enemy because they are so easy to find because they make so much racket. I had four of them purposefully turning pages, general shuffling/rustling and doing that peculiar movement when they try to get the paper in the most easy to read position with a suitably noisy flourish. OK I've got it you are reading the paper - so turn the page over in a normal way - ie quietly so I can get on with listening to my ipod. Some people do seem to make a large footprint as they move through life - ensuring we know they are there or when there're not. Lack of awareness of their surroundings if you as me (we're not ed.) and care for fellow passengers its as bad as orange eaters on a train but thats another story (I can't hardly wait yawn - ed)
Yours quietly
