Hi,

Thought it’s about time you had a real introduction from my business partner, Kamran and I, Mothin. Our story starts with a little bit of backgound on ourselves, then how our business started and finally a description of our business. (hope you get to the end)

About Us

About Mothin ; Managing Partner
I graduated from university with a 2:1 in Economics for Business following that I began studying for my professional accounting qualification, ACCA; oh they were the toughest exams of my life, all the time with a full time job.

I then registered with the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and obtained my Practising Certificate

I have worked within both accounting industry and public practice since I graduated in 2004 (I also did my industrial placement working in financial accounting)

I act as Managing Partner of our business i.e. the equivalent of a managing director of a ltd. company.

About Kamran; Senior Partner
I also graduated from university with a 2:1 in Accounting and Finance at the same time. After university I thought I would take a break from study and give Mothin a chance to catch me up on the ACCA exams (I got seven exemptions out of fourteen exams whereas Mothin had to take all fourteen)

I have also worked within both accounting industry and public practice since I graduated alongside Mothin.

I act as Senior Partner of our firm i.e. the equivalent of a chairman in a ltd. company

How our business started

Kamran and I have been friends since school; we went to the same university and even worked at the same place during our university industrial placement so we know each other inside out, which is mostly a good thing.

Following our industrial placement we always had an end goal of opening our own practice together, at certain points our goal seemed like a distant dream as we both worked and studied, but in July of this year we finally achieved our aim and www.arkaccountants.com was born.

Together we bring a strong mix of skills that complement each other and hold over 10 years of accounting experience which allows us to get the best results for our clients.

Our aim is not to be like an average accountant our mission is to provide a customer service focused, a service which not only keeps our clients in line with accounting and tax legislation but also add value to our clients business by ensuring they are either benefiting from our tax advice or our management accounts and consultancy service.
