It has been suggested that it can really help to know when different religious festivals are and to take these into account where possible when organising work for people with different beliefs. So some people would not mind at all working at Christmas but may like to take off time around a different religious festival.

We have therefore started putting a multi-ethnic calendar up onto the 'whats on' section so that you can see what celebrations and festivals are being held.
