Arrow Methods in Work Psychology

This thread is for discussion of a range of methods used in work psychology and management research.

I will start with a post on observations, and then over the next few weeks post up information about interviews, case studies, surveys, quasi-experiments, focus groups and so on.

As well as data collection, we will discuss analysis (that matches the collection method and paradigm)

Questions and debate appreciated.

kind regards
Stephanie

Skills Re: Methods in Work Psychology - Observation

Here is the first method note - on a method not used perhaps as much as it should be - observation.

This is a really brief intro to the different styles of observation, from objective observer to involved participant, and focuses on the strengths and weaknesses.

kind regards
Stephanie
