How to set the correct price for a product or service challenges many - and most courses today will tell you that you have to be far more sophisticated about how you do this. Once upon a time in principle it was fairly straightforward, you would either look at how much a product costs you to make and add a bit on, or you would look at what the competition charge for a product or service and decide where to position yourself - linked of course to your understanding of your own brand, your customers etc (so already it starts to get a bit more complicated than it first seemed).
