Hi! Lee - Webdesigner from London
Hi all, I just found bizface, looks like a great place to learn stuff & find ideas.
I started web design as a hobby, making sites for myself & friends (mostly bands) e.t.c. & these days I have actual real life clients. It wasn't planned this way, it all just happened gradually & with each new job I learned something new.
Its a labour of love for me, I work for the family business in the mornings & then come home & build websites in the afternoons (and sometimes well into the night, what a geek!). I don't exactly make a fortune, I have a relatively modest lifestyle, but its a great way to work.
I am also a musician & run my own small independent record label. That actually makes very little to no money, but again its creative & fun! Icon_smile
I concentrate mostly on making affordable websites for tradesmen & small businesses e.t.c.
Its just something that started off as fun, its still fun but its also part of how I make a living!
Accounts, as ever, are the bit I hate most, but I have learned to be more disciplined these days.
