Postal strike disrupting business
I see the unions have extended their 'disruption' schedule to mid August now. Thankfully we are not over-reliant on the post at Crosslight but I am just in the process of sending out a pile of course materials for a training session and it is irritating.
Are others being affected? Are you getting round it by using others?

Although we are not so dependent on postage as a consultancy it does affect me in that I often buy goods and software to be delivered to the office and it is getting unpredicable when these are actually turning up.
cheers

Re: Postal strike disrupting business - new dates
Royal Mail has announced two 48-hour strikes on Thursday, 4th October 2007 beginning at lunchtime until lunchtime Saturday 6th October and from the early hours Monday 8th October until the early hours Wednesday 10th October 2007.
Effectively this means no post for a rather long period, unless you are able to use alternatives.
What are people doing to get around this?
Guests and members more than welcome to reply!

Re: Postal strike disrupting business
We use couriers, both DHL and City Link.
DHL - OK B2B - Useless B2C.
City Link - Good all round.
